Reverend Georgina Washington

Reverend Georgina Washington was born in Washington, D.C., to the late Nathaniel Wiley and Margaret Marable Wiley. At an early age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and was baptized while attending Little Ark Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Thomas J. Peyton. Reverend Washington and her family relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina in August 1988. At that point, she had already begun evangelizing as the Lord gave her the opportunity and instruction to do so. She united with St. Matthew’s Baptist Church in September 1988 under the leadership of Reverend Ronald E. Avery.

She served on staff as Pastoral Care Coordinator for Senior Ministry for over 10 years. Reverend Washington has served as a Women’s Ministry Leader for over 12 years. On a monthly basis, she ministered at the women’s shelter. She serves with the Deacon Wives Ministry and is the Assistant Director of Christian Education. Reverend Washington was ordained to the Gospel Ministry in May of 2006.

Qiana Beverley is a woman whose passion is to help women see themselves the way God sees them while caring for themselves in a way that inspires others to do the same. Qiana has been in the “helping humans” field for almost 14 years, and she has an affinity for pouring into women as they journey toward optimal mental, emotional, and spiritual health. As an ordained minister, therapist, and life coach, Qiana has amassed plenty of book knowledge to help those she encounters; but attributes lived experience, as a woman who has battled challenges with depression, anxiety, anger, and low self-esteem as the biggest form of knowledge that helps her empathize and relate to women from all walks of life. She is a mother of one son, Xavier, and loves to thrift shop, make jewelry, and try new restaurants in her free time.
